DESCRIPTION: \n  \n  \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n Each session begins with a short family activity or craft, followed by playtime for kids with an Otter Cove Playworker while parents hear from a local professional about child development, parenting, and family resources. \n  \n  \n We wrap up with a parent talking circle, offering a chance to share experiences, reflect on the workshop topic, and connect with other local parents. At noon, families reunite to enjoy the rest of their Saturday together. \n  \n  \n These workshops are a great opportunity to learn, connect, and play as a family. \n  \n  \n June's topic is Supporting Kids & Caregivers Through Medical Play, presented by Dr. Kaci Walvatne, occupational therapist with Lake Region Healthcare.  \n  \n  \n
